Resource Centre for Cyber Forensics (RCCF) is an embedded centre in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Thiruvananthapuram. C-DAC is an autonomous scientific society of Department of Information Technology (DIT), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Govt. of India.

RCCF is set up in C-DAC with the funding from DIT under a project titled “Resource Centre for Cyber Forensics”. RCCF project is the continuation of a starter project titled “Technical Resource Centre for Cyber Forensics (TRCCF)”. The TRCCF project was also funded by DIT with the objective of effectively implementing the Information Technology Act – 2000 (IT Act – 2000) promulgated in October 2000.
